our birthday is coming

so, kids, the opening blog, here it is. 

i want all of us to write in here whenever. whenever we have a dramatic story that blew us away, or if we saw a show critique it and share it with the rest of the group, a good book, or even a crappy one.  an album, a meal we ate, a poop we took, a person we met.  a brunch we went to.  write if u feel shitty, write if you feel giddy, write the lyrics to a song you make up, write because writing rocks, and shangrila has a fucking TON TO SAY/SHARE ALL THE TIME.  write because i love you all and because we're not just any fucking apartment complex, we're not just any family, we all have our quarks, we all have or talents, we all have secrets that have brought us together and made us more than a blood family or just friends.  we are a totem pole of musicians, alcoholics, drama, passive aggresiveness, chainsmokers, bike riders, pot heads, poets, artists, scientists, writers, readers, and what i feel ties us all together, we are all first, altruistic lovers.  and remember, shangrila extends to all of those to enter these doors. period.

because anyone who enters, stays till the wee hours of the morning, and always, ALWAYS returns.
