If you go to http://listentoyoutube.com/ you can extract the audio file from any youtube video and play it on your iTunes. Or whatever you use to listen to music. Cool!

Just don't download a whole bunch at once without opening the files because all the songs will be named the same thing and it might be difficult to sort them out and rename them.

Ways to find things

1. There's a really cool website that lets you search through the Flickr library by color. You can pick which color combinations you want to find and it'll show you the photos that are (mostly) made up of whatever you chose. You can also adjust it to make some colors more dominant. The site only uses photos that are categorized as "interesting" by Flickr so it means that you won't get a billion images but it also means that you don't have to sift through a pile of flowers and group shots at bars. Awesome! And pretty.

2. If it's music you're looking for try out http://www.justhearit.com/. Just type in a song or artist and it'll find a way for you to listen to the song online. I typed in a bunch of songs I haven't been able to listen to and this site found them in a second.

This is an awesome blog some kids from Bennington College started after they graduated. It's kind of fallen off in the past few months but if you look through some random posts from the beginning and middle, you'll definitely find something really sweet.
